help with engine tin
i put electric ps from a cupcar in my 993 trackcar
i am having the engine rebuild
i wanted to powder coat the tin and engine mount
need the part # from a rs america tin it didn't have ps
i was hoping it will fit and close the hole left from the ps
pump any help would be great

The 964 katalog lists 2 parts for the front right cover for models without power steering.
1) 964 106 283 76. I found this picture:

2) 964 106 283 01. I can't find a picture so have no idea what the difference is.
Comparing the 993 diagram to the 964 diagram for the covers, it looks like the front covers are quite different so I would be surprised if these would work. I've only seen references to some people with similar setups using custom fabricated pieces. I'd be interested in a solution also as I am considering either going with a RSA steering rack or something like what you've done.
