Had 996gt3 bucket seats before. Kids started complaining about getting in and out of the back seat. Just installed these 997gt3 seats. Have to say the really go well with interior of my 993tt. Alcantara 996wheel/shifter/e brake. Same color as the alcantara in the seat.

Still prefer the feel of the bucket seats. But, what don't we do for the kids.

How about a front splitter?

Todd,

Next gathering at Rein's Deli, I'd be happy to bring my PC and some detailing supplies for a little tutorial....almost can't go wrong. It's very therapeutic.

I have done the following to the car so far:
Fikse FM 10 wheels
TPC super charger and top end rebuild
Fister stage 3 exhaust
Lowered stance with H&R sport spring kit, new shocks and struts
I must say that I noticed ZERO difference after the suspension work, did i take a wrong turn there?
1) Turbo S Scoops w/LED lighting.
2) Perfect Power or RUF Strut brace. I added the RUF brace which fits nicely under the carpet, reduced windshield creak dramatically.
3) Lots of miles....enjoy the time driving it.

I did not do the intercooler
The shop auto associates has installed several of them and ran tests and could not document any improvements with the intercooler

We read at the start of this thread, "I must say that I noticed ZERO difference after the suspension work, did i take a wrong turn there?"

FWIW, It has been my experience, you will only feel a big difference in a suspension when you really push the car hard.

That may be why I have not noticed a difference
I don't drive like a total maniac on the street despite what my mother may think

you don't need to drive like a maniac to feel the difference between suspension set ups, especially if you are going from mediocre stock to aftermarket. i went from stock to 10's and turbo sways, dropped, aligned, and CB'd. the change in feel and performance was immediate. granted, the stock shocks had 100k+ miles. nevertheless, if you go from stock to a quality aftermarket products, you should definitely be able to feel the difference.

for other ideas on mods, just check signatures. i've gotten many ideas from just looking at those. good luck.

Todd. If in fact you have the factory shocks with HR springs, your doing yourself a disservice. They are better matched to the bilstein hd shocks that Gert and other sell. The ride is firm, but properly so. If you got your lift up and running it's a fun/fairly easy item to do. Then take to Dan for an alignment.

Upgrade your tool box for the above install and you can check 2 boxes . Yes I'm a tool pusher, can't have enough of them.
