Default Installed Porsche Classic Radio

I received the Classic Radio Navigation unit from Suncoast yesterday and installed it in about two hours.

The installation instructions are very good, so I'm not going to write a How-To, but one thing I found out during install is to not use the post that screws into back of the unit to protect the wire connections. It is too long and the radio won't fit flush with the IP face.

Sound is better than the CR210. Streams music clearly. Phone works great too.

Just finished installing, so I need to play with the other features for a more detailed review. So far I love it!

Wow that looks great! Mine just came in and I haven't yet installed it, but happy to see actual pictures of it installed! Where did you put the GPS antennas?

Looks nice.

Was the price around $1,300? Can you stream Pandora from an iPhone?

Is there provision for RCA connectors to an external amplifier on the back? Radio looks great!

Thanks! The GPS antenna is magnetic and I installed beneath the dash panel just right of the center vent.

Yes and yes.

Just used the nav and the voice sounds similar to the narrator from the video game Little Big Planet. Tore out of my street and he let me know that, "You are over the speed limit." Gotta find out how to turn off that feature!

Yes, you have to order that separately.

Waiting for mine from Sunset, can't wait to get Apple Music hooked up. Will have a mint CD-220 up for sale soon!

How's the phone feature?

Makemann - were you at Zingerman's last Saturday morning? If yes, your 993 is one of the nicest I've seen in a while... I was there in my 67.
