The bumper outlet is the same whether it is a factory square or oval tip, and both those factory tips attach the same to the factory mufflers. We developed our tips to be a direct factory replacement, so as long as your tips fit the Fister fine so should ours. PM sent
Thanks John will be in touch tomorrow. Will take a few pics tonight when I get home. They should bolt on directly.

Excellent, I look forward to working with you! I only came in today to catch up on some paperwork, but if you could give me a ring any time on Monday that would be superb

Made a little video of my Fabspeed single wall ovals, absolutely love the look. They were easy to install, well once I was able to loosen the exhaust bolts.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yAuBOs2nII

I would like to have the inside of the tips be black, any recommendations on how to do that? I was thinking just masking it off and getting some VHT exhaust paint.

Yes, that would probably work. Or let nature take its course and naturally blacken the insides.

My Fabspeed tips came with a flat black finish inside, but I've noticed after several heat cycles and washings, the black inside finish wore off (ie regained a stainless steel color) But again, if I don't deliberately wash the insides of the tips, they stay an attractive flat black.

Very happy to see/hear you are enjoying the tips! Give it some time, the carbon buildup will turn the inside black especially if you are running catless haha

That is rather odd to hear on the inside coating. Shoot me over some pictures to john.gaydos@fabspeed.com when you have a chance.

are these tips any different than the wide ovals from Porsche (besides the finish & dealership premium)?

the fabspeed ones look great, they look similar to the Porsche wide ovals, hard to see if there is a difference without holding them

I just installed mine. Car is still on jack stands and I dont have much room behind the car to look at them from far. But they look great. I got the brushed aluminum ones. Might still need a little straightening, but they are sweet.

Porsche versions have a double skin, from the lip to the inlet, so look better on the inside.

looks great!!! I didn't know the brushed finish tips were black ceramic coated inside? I believe in this thread I have seen the same w/o the inside black coating?

Quite recently we decided to try and make them even closer to factory OEM, so ours are also now a dual skin inside from tip to outlet. We also started having the inside ceramic coated black in order to provide a smoother/quality finish right from the start without having to build up carbon deposit haha.

Trying the best we can to be a factory replica without the factory Porsche tax
