Hershey trip from Connecticut
Just wanted to see if there was any interest in a convoy to hershey from the CT, NJ, NY area, I have never been but thought it would be fun to go up as a group.

I think it was the weather that caused the event to suck. It was cold and wet, so there was basically no one there, the items at the swap meet were generally for older cars and over priced, and that was about it.

I was there once when it was cold and wet and it did suck. The vendors didn't put out anything of value because they didn't want it to get wet. I left with nothing but a chill. The heat in the car felt good but, I didn't shake the chill until Allentown!

I go every year. Great way to start the "driving season." This year Hershey will be the first stop of a 6-day trip down to the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta. Planning some nice back road driving, going through the Tail of the Dragon, etc...
Generally the meeting spot is the Vince Lombardi rest area on the NJ Turnpike at 7AM. That makes arrival at Hershey around 10AM.

That's the plan.
Vince Lombardi rest area on the NJ Turnpike at 7AM April 16th
We can update the thread as the weather forecast becomes clearer
If some Connecticut folks are on this thread we can meet up before heading to NJ for 7am

Carpool from the Boston area
Is anyone interested in carpooling from the Boston area? I'm not 100% sure I'm going, but it's more likely if there is a carpool. Since the meet opens at 7:30am, I'd like to drive to Hershey the night before and get an early start. I have a bunch of stuff I'd like to sell (OEM heat exchanger, exhaust and CIS system from a 911sc, etc.) so I'll be taking a minivan.
