Got the bumperette off. Put Wolfs Nano Trim Coat on it - looks great. Upon attempted re-installation of first bumper - bolt fell off wrench and is no captured behind the bodywork where the aluminum mounting bracket comes through . Cannot find a way to reach it . . .

It's mundane but it's what I did with my 993 - Also washed it this am.

Went and saw the "Porsche Effect" exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum today. Also went for the "Vault" tour...they had some pretty amazing cars.

Intake boot, new front hood struts, golden rod, and AWD SSK...replacement headlight 3M covers will have to wait for another day. Thanks FDM for more quality products, as well as step by step(more or less) instructions on their website.

I’m pretty sure I could reduce my original install time for the AWD SSK from 3+ hours and 1753 WTF’s, to 2 hours and 3-5 WTF’s.

Try pb blaster, penetrating oil. WD40 won’t help much if at all

Did an oil change (Motul V300) and smogged/renewed the registration on the car.

Pretty happy with the smog results, passed easily and with super low emissions across the board.

Changed my oil using my new SafeJack Rennstands.

Of course the entire job was supervised by my Portuguese Water Dog, Sox.

Completed my first shade tree body shop job for the 993. Finished the hot rod bumper. Deleted the bumperettes, license plate holes, and the cross bar in the air scoop. Have a detailed write up on the diy coming soon!
