If I was wealthy I would have pieces like that displayed as art. That is just beautiful.

Cool. I'm going in February on my way back from North Africa. February is not the best time to visit Germany (!) but that's how it worked out.

Removed the spoiler motor and transmission to diagnose inop spoiler. Both totally seized up. Time to open them up and see if the bearings can be replaced !

Finally finished my recent list:
Golden Rod, shifter bushings,
distributor - caps, rotors and new belt
all fan belts and updated pulley
bleed brakes and clutch
underbelly metal pans -cleaned, sand, prime & paint
general undercarriage cleanup and rubber care under the car

I guess it’s time for the winter wheels and drive it.

I think the idea is you match them to your heater *****, which are right next to them. So for 993's it's no chrome trim. The chrome trim is for OLD 911's. Having trim on your dials is neither here nor there. But of course each to their own.

2006 997 - Replaced clutch & dual mass fly wheel new clutch slave cylinder, removed and replaced rear main seal, drained and refiled gearbox oil, removed and fitted a new rear gearbox mount, fitted new oil pressure switch all topped off with engine oil and filter change. Noticeable improvement in drive ability gear changes seem much smother also bypassed the cluck lockout micro switch. Reset maintenance service indicator with my Durmetric checked all other systems for DTC's all in all a good weekend for my 911. Front suspension control arms are next on the list for replacement.

Drove it yesterday before Avery - the first snow storm of the season, and my Ocean Blue is no longer a teenage.
