how do you find the transformation to a LWF from a DMF?

one bug KIA below front light washernozzle

«Kills bugs fast» Porsche says - well, I killed one bug while streching her out properly (properly enough for one bug! Hah) for half a day. Used 3/4 of gas on lots of WOT on 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear mainly between 4000-7000rpm on deserted b-roads. Im still smiling after all this overdose of analoge feeling it brings. Its a very very good feeling using the car properly again, just experiencing what its capable of and the sound it makes above 4000rpm.

Spring is great with its cold air and asphalt which makes the engine go great and tires not sticking so well. Almost bug and traffic -free aswell. Whats not to like? 😀

it took 3 minutes to adjust to the new clutch. I love it! Highly recommended. No stalls on my 95 and no chip/reprogram was needed.

Took the 993 for a twisty road drive in the mountains to Cripple Creek Colorado and had my brother in his turbo Miata (300+ whp)

All of the lights would just go out when I turned on the lights with the **** and sometimes they would go out sporadically without warning. Yes, it was kind of scary while spirited driving on the countryside roads.

added some bling to the car. Rennline makes some really nice parts. Now to drive the car around and adjust to my liking

Just need the track mats to round it out now

I installed new shocks on the engine deck lid and fixed my 6 switch panel. A few of the switches were loose and sitting wrong. Woohoo! Nice to have the deck lid stay up on its own. Also installed the rennline phone mount around the dash clock.

Are the struts hard to replace? I need to do both the front and rear struts on my 993. Where did you order the struts from?

Thanks in advance!

I ordered everything from Pelican Parts. You're also going to want extra pins/clips, it's easy to lose them in the engine bay. I laid a piece of cardboard underneath the struts to catch dropped pins/clips.

I think the struts for the frunk are different than the lid, you may want to double check that. I'm not sure.

The process itself is pretty straight forward. I did reference this guide for some help to get started:
https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm

I started by replacing the right strut and so far it seems plenty to hold the lid open.

Good luck!

PS - what color is your Taco? I have a 16 TRD PRO in quicksand, awesome truck!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'll have to order some stuff soon as neither the front or rear lids stay open on their own!!

Changed the front diff fluid. Holy crap was that fill plug tight! When it finally pops you'd swear something broke.

Put it back on with a washer. Should be easier next time.
