Thank you, it was the colour that sold me, and my weakness for large spoilers and flared arches. However the car i sadly not as clean as the pictures makes it look.On the positive side I bought the car to use it, and that suits me better than having a very clean car thats needs to be babied.

Contributing to the thread! Sorry, no pic's, but did what is the best phrase ever "drove it like i stole it"!!!

I have a 2019 smooth VW SUV as a daily, but Friday's is my Porsche day! Hey, I have 145k miles, so go easy on the comments. The car is driven...but a bit less in the lousy traffic of Silicon Valley and the fact that i need a company car most of the time.

What a hoot. And yes, it rained today and the car did just fine. But incredible how aware you become driving a 993. The guy behind me at a stop sign was totally looking at his phone as his car casually drifted forward (he didnt have his brakes fully locked). No issue, but it was close. What a clown.

driving the 993 in silicon valley is an experience. Most people literally are actually texting or looking at their phones driving. Its incredible.

In any event, it was a good day. My 12 year old son had to go to his next year middle-school, and he wanted to go in the Porsche. He gets it. All is good. He will drive it, and learn manual (but in my 1988 Toyota truck!!).

993 for life!!!!

Replaced my fog lights with URO brand instead of Porsche OEM (Hella), thinking it should be ok and I would save approx 100 bucks on each one vs the discounted OEM ones.

Well, as happy as I was of not having yellowed fog lights anymore (for a brief moment in the pics below), the right one is shorted and blew the fuse. Also, the smaller connector doesn’t snap into place properly.

So now I have yellow fog lights again after swapping them back. Just ordered the Porsche OEM and fortunately I’m getting a full refund for the URO ones.

At least I’m now an expert on removal and installation of 993 fog lights!

Replaced the seal between the bumper and hood. Dropped the car off at the body shop to fix little spots of rust in both front and rear windows...dreading the bill that will come back.

Decided a fortnight ago or so that my RS DoorCards were looking a little tired, and that I'd redo them entirely..

Broken Straps, Foot Kicked cover and Speaker Holes where none were required..

Too. Many. Holes.

I had a local Woodwork Shop make me up some Cards, using the ones they were replacing as a Template; minus the Unnecessary Holes..! I covered these in 100 Kilo Fire Retardant Foam.

..then lay my Perforated Leatherette over the top and Contact Adhesive these into place..

..Roll back, Spray, Smooth over; Repeat..

..Roll back, Spray, Smooth over..

Flip, for the Stapling..

First, taping the Leatherette into place so as not to pull/stretch..

..then Staple Gun..

Trim excess, blind Tape..

X out the Window Holes

Looking Good..

Looking Great..

Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner..

Installed Tore's TLock kit on my 95. Works perfectly, great deal for under $100. Got to use that fancy allen wrench on the seats also.

Installed Tore’s 4300k HID kit. The whole purchasing and shipping process went flawlessly and the product is fantastic. I also installed new oem fog lights.
