Converting fogs to DRLs, any LEDs fit?
I'm going to rewire my fog light switch so the fogs will operate without requiring that the headlights are on.
I'm then planning to use the fog lights as DRLs (that i can switch off when desired).
Are there good leds available for the fog lights- i think those are H3?
They wouldn't have to be as bright as the original halogen bulbs, just bright enough to make a good drl.
(I asked Tore, he said none were good enough for him to recommend, but I thought I'd see if someone here had found some that worked good enough for DRL.)

i used the led's that came with carnewal's turbo s scoops. the only caveat is, although they are plug and play, they don't turn off and on via the switch. however, i don't mind since i like the fact that they stay on.

lol, yes...with the lights turned to first position (parking) which is how i drive. other installations might experience something different, but i wanted a DRL solution anyway so it's perfect for me.
