Glove Box Latch

While driving to work today my glove box sprang open. The latch, which looks like an electrical staple, was still engaged in the lock part. Can I purchase a replacement part, and if so can you please direct me to where I might obtain one.

A simple screw holds the latch in place. When it loosens, the glove box opens....

There is more to the fix than tightening screws...

I did a search and found a few relevant posts.

but its not too bad - the U ring seems to get loose and often slides up. Mine has been doing it for years, I guess I had better look at it ....
