Plain slim black frame on the back - no marketing. Same plain black on front but with smoke cover to lessen plate presence (bec I'm in NY so I have to).

I have smoked full covers like _snowbird's 4S. They reduce some contrast of the stark white plates on a black car.

I wish someone made black, simple frames that have "Porsche Classic" on them like the euro plate frames...

Beverly Hills Porsche. I think it sounds cool and it's where I bought the car. Rear only, of course.

I like a clear plate cover but no frame. I think frames detract from the lines of the car. Advertising frames seem tacky to me and Porsche frames redundant.

If anyone knows where to get custom made plate holders, I've wanted to make metal replicas of my Andial plate holder. I'd be happy to make extras for anyone interested.

The cool plates here in SoCal - if one is into text on their frame - are the ones given to Andial customers as well as those from Vasek Polak Porsche, both of which have been out of business for years. Vaseks' was a dealer with a great history and great factory racing shop and parts business and the Andial crew came from Vasek's to start their business.
