Default Refresh with Refurbed Fikses and Super Charger

Got my 993 back from Auto Associates a few weeks ago
They had an old set of 18" Fikse wheels and i had them strip them and paint them light grey in a high gloss
Not for everyone but i LOVE the look
I also can't believe how the car turns now that it has the new wheels and fresh rubber
The super charger aint so bad either, i really need to go out with one of you guys so i can see how much quicker it is. it really seems to pull allot harder all the way around the dial but especially at around 5K. Its hard to tell how much faster it is because i have been with out it for so long it feels like a new car all over again

Default Refresh with Refurbed Fikses and Super Charger

I saw his car last week. It looks great with those wheels! Very nice! The supercharger looks cool & sounds great. I want one if only to cleanup the engine bay.
Great car.

Here are some pix of my 1996 993 with a Supercharger installed after I had my engine freshened up a couple of years ago. I hand made the air filter enclosure. The SC is great addition!!!!!

Supercharger should not pull all that hard around 5K. As a matter of fact, it should be declutching around there as it starts to sap more power from the engine than it can deliver. It should, however, pull hard at lower RPM, from about 2K or so. I'm a big fan of superchargers vs. turbochargers.

The installation looks very clean and nice. I'm not sure I like where the air filter is located for several reasons, but the rest of it looks very tidy and well thought out and executed.

Speak for yourself!

Todd - Congrats on the refurb. Add my name to the long list of envious RL 993ers. Someday I'd love to slap one of those TPC Super Chargers in my 993 too.

P.S. All that work and you didn't get the alternator fan painted?

I know
I should have painted that damn thing
I was hoping they would do more of a detail job of the engine compartment also, i even offered to go up there and clean it myself after they pulled the engine, oh well
