Default Meet/Compare cars - Fairfield Co. CT

I posted last week that I finally got a 993 Targa. Although I'm not new to 911's, I am new to the 993 & I have many questions. I would like to see if anyone is interested in meeting up to talk cars. I'd like to be able to see others to find out what's right & not right on my car & ask questions to learn more.

If anyone is interested, reply here or PM me if you want.

Thanks.

Let me know if you get any interest. I've got a Cayenne (Fairfield County CRV), but it would be fun to hang with the 911 crowd.

Trying to pull something together for early next Saturday morning, August 15. AClark133 is also on board. Hoping to check out his new roll bar. Maybe somewhere near Springfield MA? Wide open to suggestions for a meeting place.

I'm in for Springfield. Not local, but I'm up for a drive. I don't know the area, so I'll leave it up to you, Foxman, to set a place.

Toddster, you are very local, so if you want to meet anytime, that would be great. I'd love to see the supercharger.

And, PJ, come along!

As some have suggested, Ill be joining PCA & maybe be bumping into some of you there.

Why don't you guys head over to Lime Rock this weekend? CVR will be there for a DE, sharing the day with the Club members. Should be a pretty decent amount of Porsches there.

I'll be at the new track in Palmer MA this weekend with PCA North Country - but not sure how many 993's will be there.

OK, suggest we all meet next Saturday, August 15, at 9 AM at Rein's Deli in CT - Exit 65 on Route 84. Open invitation for any other local 993's in the area to come on out and meet for a local 993 cars and coffee. I plan on having the full breakfast!

Sorry for the newbie question, what is going on over the weekend? I see this on their website:

8, Saturday, PCA Conn. Valley Reg. & LRDC; LRDC AX

Default Palmer

Jim, I was out there last week and surprised that someone had the shutter speed to capture me on track.
It's a really technical track- the videos don't show the elevation change and camber.

Gav, what color on the targa?

Rein's sounds interesting. NY style deli - they have to have a NY style cheesecake!

Christian, my car is arena red.

If you aren't doing the DE or AX, are there good places to watch? Bring your own food or is there food for sale?

Will my wife get totally bored?

Great places to watch as well as meet a bunch of pretty cool car guys. Kinda like the anti q-tip crowd. Food is available for purchase, but not the most healthy choices: burgers, dogs, etc...

As far as the wife goes, it all depends. Have her bring a book just in case.
