Most aggressive NB 993 rear wheels
 

From the people who have had or have aggressive rear wheels on a NB 993 what is the most aggressive size/offset that can be ran without rolling fenders.
I am looking to run 18x9.5 35mm offset, but it looks very close. Anyone know if this will work?

Not sure off hand, but, 9.5" is not enough meat in the rear! You're going down a half inch from stock width... Check out this thread; lots of good offset info from Bill Verburg re: aggressive wheels:

By agressive you mean widest?
Wouldn't you know the widest tire that fits as well? If you know tire, you can figure out what width and the what offset you need.

And of course, as you may know, wider in the rear doesn't mean better as you will be limited in front and can introduce more understeer.

I dunno, I prefer docile wheels. I don't want my wheels, front or rear, to mug the passers buy or slash my ankles. I don;t eve want them to be passive-aggressive, so I try to exercise them at least a couple times a week.

I run with 18" X 10"s on BBS Sport Classics II's in winter with no fender rolling necessary. So you can go wider than 9.5" :thumbsup:

You could certainly go wider and should go wider. The issue here is low offset which will stick them way out (Sport Classics II have +65 mm offset for 18x10 rears.

A lot of variables at play (e.g, wheel construction, back pad, offset, rubber size, ride height, etc.), but I've successfully done 18x10 et 47 in the past on a NB with 265/35/18 semi-rounded shoulder tires, some neg camber, sitting between RS and ROW height. Going lower and fiddling with the camber would require a roll in that set up though. I think a safe, good looking and accepted play on a NB is 18x10 et 60.

IMHO...No way, no how!

Std rear wheel offset is 65mm which is about 1/4" from the fender.
The 9.5 wheel width is 1/4" thinner on the inside and outside edge.
This puts the outside edge of the 9.5 wheel approx 1/2" before fender interference.
There is a 30mm difference in outward poke with the 35mm offset wheel you're considering.
1mm = approx .040"
30mm = approx 1.2"
The math doesnt lie...

Sorry guys I was a bit unclear, I am not trying to run as wide as possible.
I want to run Reverse mounted BBS LM which will leave my rear wheels at 18x9.5 with a 35mm offset.

It's very close, but seems doable (perhaps :)). Talk to Juha, he was reverse mounting 18x9.5 (originally with et 55) LMs on a NB.
