Default Mufflers stolen!!!

I shipped a set of Fister Stage II Gillet mufflers in Titanium ceramic to a customer in Manhatten Beach, CA. UPS shows them delivered (left them on the guys porch ) but when the customer arrived home they were nowhere to be found.
This specific set is the only set I have ever made in titanium with the Fister logo in orange, so they will be easy to identify.
Please keep your eyes and ears open in case these show up for sale somewhere.
My direct email is: fdmotorsports@comcast.net

Thanks!

That sucks, Darin. Hopefully they will turn up. Can't see the crooks knowing what it is, what it's for or what it's worth, so I'd scan local Craigslist for the next month or two.

Hopefully UPS will make it right.

That sucks, chances are whoever stole it won't know what they are and will just dump them. Hopefully they were insured.

Darin, get UPS to contact the driver and verify that he actually left the package at the right house and not a block over. We've seen it happen before. Or the spouse grabbed it and put it the closet, or they actually left it at the neighbors house, or.....

Default Stolen deliveries

Vehicles do cruise behind UPS and Fed Ex trucks, at least in Portland, OR. After the driver rings the doorbell and hauls off quickly, as these delivery people do, the follower, who may have cased the neighborhood and knows who is/is not home, pulls up on the driveway or parks in front (probably more men than woman perpetrators) and just waits a short bit, then helps himself to the spoils, and quickly leaves. I saw it happen in my neighborhood, and the police and sheriffs state it's not infrequent reality. In this case Amazon made good, but Darin is in a different circumstance- I love my Fister III's!
So, arrange for signatures, drop off expected goods with a neighbor if you know you'll be away, or hold in their terminal and pick up yourself or re-arrange delivery, before the event.
Scum is around, sadly.

Smile I have a package store nearby

Options Parcel Service in Paso Robles. I just have stuff shipped there...they call me when it arrives..I pick it up at a cost of $1.00 a package, regardless of size...two tires? $1.00...can't beat it.

Regardless, I want Darin and his customer to find the mufflers.

Just terrible, Darin - really sorry to hear and sad to think someone has such low class to do this despicable of an act!

On a positive note, just got my coated Fister's delivered this PM, and they lay open on my floor for admiration! With great impatience I await my DIY install tomorrow. Thanks for a great product!

Maybe the customer can check all of the adjacent dumpsters in the area a lot time these mutants will open stuff and realize it's not some huge gold mine for them and dump them ASAP. It's worth a try. If they find the morons with the items, can they shoot them on sight and just articulate that the "felt an obvious threat to their well being, they took the immediate steps to stop the threat to great bodily harm or even death". Remember, shot placement counts! Good luck.

I don't use UPS but I presume they have option like
fedex for item to be shipped to local station and picked up by customer there. I offer that option when i sell stuff and request it from seller when I buy high dollar items.
