Default Shipper recommendations

I just sold my car to a gentleman in Israel, and he asked if I could help him find a reliable and reasonable priced shipping company to transport my C4S from TN up to NJ.
Ive never had a car shipped,so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Emerald

I have heard good things about Intercity lines and they are a Rennlist sponsor and they say they give a rennlist discount.

I recently used Plycar, but would not seek their services again. Long story probably best shared over a PM if anyone cares, but an easy skip IMO based on experience.

Try Intercity as has been mentioned already, they offer discounts if you are a member of several boards they sponsor (e.g. 6speedonline, this one of course included). There are likely not the cheapest even with the discount, but still worth a shot.

Reliable Carriers is another quality company you can look into, when I went to Barrett Jackson by far they had the highest representation.

A lot will depend on your timing (how quick you need the car shipped), as TN may not be a popular route for some of the companies. For example, a pickup from OR resulted in a 3-week wait from Intercity when I asked them for a quote (and Amelia Island was in full effect so that didn't help)

I used Plycar to go x-country (KY to WA). They were pretty expensive but enclosed carrier and the car arrived in perfect shape. Had quite a long wait where it sat in California though.

I had great luck with Plycar. Intercity didn't serve the route I needed to go (SoCal-OR), which was a big black mark on them.

I would ask the buyer to do his homework. That way if anything goes south with the carrier you don't find yourself in an uncomfortable situation because of your "recommendation."

And, congrats on the sale!!
