Haven't seen him around here in a while - hope all is well with him. This place was much better when he was here. I'm sure he's enjoying his well deserved retirement.
I could have purchased this car when he sold it a few years ago (~$65k as I remember), but couldn't get over a scratch it had on one of the rear fenders.... Hindsight...!

The car looks nice!
I have a question though. I looked at the for sale photos and his car has a front strut brace installed. It is not listed on the window sticker.
My question is; the car has cut-outs for the strut brace and they are trimmed with the typical edge trim found elsewhere. Did the cars that were originally sold with a strut bar (if they were) have the frunk carpet trimmed like that?
Not that it really matters, I'm just trying to become more educated.
Thanks for any responses.
Regards,
Al

Al,
993 turbos did not come from the factory with FSB's as an option. This may have been something that could have been specified as a high cost exclusive option (just about anything was possible if you were willing to pay), though to my knowledge only the 993 turbo S ever came with a FSB.
Chuck's car probably has a Rennline FSB with a nicely done pair of 'cut outs' in the frunk liner for it to be exposed. Most just reinstall their frunk carpet over the top of their FSB's - as I have done.

Nice car. Has good condition set of Michelin PS2's sneakers. At $116,000 currently, its bargain !
The silver painted hardback's look the part. Couldn't tell of the condition though... ( I was tempted to spec the painted, but feared the look over time of the wear and tear)
PS. Just bought a full set of PS2's with a production date, week 48 of 2014. I'd thought PS2 production was history?

Was just thinking about Chuck today. Hadn't talked or even chatted with him here or on the 986 forum board in quite some time. I'm looking for another 993 for a friend and he was SOOOO instrumental in the purchase of the last one for my father. Wonder what he's up to? He's a great guy without question! Hope all is well with him!
