Default Heigo Roll Bar ID help

Hey guys,

Now that the euro is reasonable, I'm looking for a non-sunroof clubsport style bar with the x brace and tunnel support. Like the model shown below:

I've heard a few competing model numbers, and I think that 516.042 is the sunroof version of that same bar. Does anybody have a definitive answer for the non-sunroof version?

Many thanks!

Justin

What ever you do...DO NOT order the bar directly from Heigo!!
On the other hand, FVD would be a very good place to shop for the Heigo stuff.

I love how that thing looks. My Das Rollbar is very heavy and a pain to put in and take out.

I was planning on going through Gert... His prices are about 15-20% less than FVD. Thoughts?

That's crazy... On all the bars I've seen, SSD has denoted a sunroof model. Now my part number theory is all messed up.

I ordered directly from Heigo for my C2 with sunroof. This is what the invoice says. I also ordered the horizontal bar for lapping the harness belts around.

516.039 Porsche 993 SSD Clubsport Bj. 1993-1998 Stahl-Bügel
inkl. Tunnelstützstreben
inkl. Diagonale mit Gabelkopfbef.

600.036 Gurtrohr demontierbar

It took a lot of emails to order because of the language issue, perhaps using Gert would be a good idea.

Not a lot of help.

Finally found a master catalog... The current part numbers are as follows:

516.037 993 Roll Bar for non-sunroof
516.038 993 Roll Bar for sunroof
516.039 993 Roll Bar for sunroof with tunnel support braces
516.040 993 Roll Bar for non-sunroof with tunnel support braces
516.041 993 RS Clubsport model (vertical braces attach to rear seatback location) for non-sunroof with tunnel support and x-bracing
516.042 993 Clubsport for sunroof model (vertical braces are flattened tubing and attach to seatbelt location) with tunnel support and x-bracing
516.043 993 Clubsport for non-sunroof model (vertical braces are flattened tubing and attach to seatbelt location) with tunnel support and x-bracing
516.046 993 Cabrio

I originally wanted the .041 version as I believe the slightly different geometry supports the main hoop a little better, and it places the vertical support braces in a stronger triangulated position. (seat back brackets)

Unfortunately, some Rennlisters had issues with the vertical braces being improper length for cars with no sunroof when ordered from Heigo, basically just a manufacturing issue. I didn't really want to deal with that, so I ended up with the .043 model which looks exactly like the first picture I posted above.

I hope this info helps guys looking to purchase a Heigo cage in the future.

Ordered a roll bar(516.042) directly from Heigo a couple of days ago.
Got an order confirmation from Heigo yesterday with payment details and 6 weeks delivery time from received payment.

Mine is to be delivered within Germany.

Some would say risky move ordering directly from Heigo... Many guys have had a bad experience. They seem to deliver to dealers much faster than direct orders.
