Agreed. The manufacturers involved already make steering and suspension components.
It might be even scarier to consider how many cars on the road and track have worn out components that are one event/stress away from failure.

Ok just heard from vendor that these are going to happen. Have prototyped from an OEM Gt2 EVO inner tie rod. Testing and manufacturing ETA 3-4 months. Will update this thread.

Just for a quick clarification - how will these be different from the EVO-ish tie rods available for example from ERP?

Thx Steven. Have to admit to a healthy dose of self-interest but since these have become NLA there are lots of frustrated 993 track rats out there. I lent my Gt2/EVO inners for prototyping and I know there will be some incremental improvements on the factory design. So, good stuff coming our way!
