adjusting front hood gap
Let me try this again. Just read my previous thread and I must have had too much coffee.
I installed new hood shocks on the front, frunk, lid. The drivers side is slightly raised now. Is there a simple adjustment that I am not seeing?
Thanks

More information is really needed here in order to offer anything constructive.
Is the "raised" edge at the bottom, next to the bumper cover or at the top, next to the cowl????

I have the exact same issue. Drivers side where the hood meets the bumper cover is raised slightly compared to the passenger side. My hood shocks were recently replaced by the PO as well. Would be interested if there is any adjustment that can be made.

There are little rubber pads on the body of the car near each corner that contact the frunk lid near the bumper cover. These are height adjustable. You can screw them in or out just by turning them.
Edit: I swear that little bit of dirt wasn't there last time I looked. ;-)

So here are some pics of mine
Is the driver's side too high or passenger side too low or some of both?
This is what I don't understand, this is the driver's (high) side and you can see the rubber trim is already sticking up above the rubber adjustment ball
This is the passenger (low) side and it appears the rubber adjustment ball and the rubber trim are level together.
So even if I turned the adjustment down on the drivers side (to lower it) it still looks to be sitting on the rubber seal already and not the adjustment ball. Any thoughts on how to remedy this?

I fixed that issue by adjusting the locking mechanism. Remove all the plastic that covers the mechanism. Then you can unscrew the locking part and move it up or down. Mine was too low so it was pulling too hard on the hood and gave the same look as your picture above...

If it is pulling on the hood too hard wouldn't it up the whole hood down too far and not just one side? Any pics of the locking mechanism adjustment? Just trying to understand the problem more in depth. So I would raise the locking mechanism and then do what with the rubber adjustment *****?

Drifting
The rear deck lid has similar bumpers that screw in/out. With new shocks, the deck lid wasn't popping up, but after replacing/adjusting the bumpers (cheap rubber parts), it pops up like I fed it Viagra!
