So, Rudy's 996 sport seats a very nice "inexpensive" alternative to the 993 hardbacks.

I think you need a kit , but it's a very simple DIY , lots of guys have done it here .

The main difference is the appearence (switches, stitch pattern and hardback design). If you like the way they look they are just as supportive as the 993 hardbacks.

i obviously did not charge you enough if you think $2500 is a GREAT price.

Rudys seats are painted up real nice; and you know as well as I that pricing a year ago, is not pricing today. :roflmao:

Add in the fact that you essentially gave me those lovely, yellow stitched hard back sports...I still have sour grapes that you didn't let me buy the Fister III's while I was there. :)

If it makes any difference, I still have fond thoughts of my trip to Encinitas, picking up your seats, and watching my pal blow his sax at a local jazz club.

BTW Santa, I left you out some extra special milk and cookies this year; did you enjoy them? :bowdown:

No kit necessary...Bang down the tabs in the front rails of the 996 seats, dremel off the locating pin in the back, and plug the power plugs in the correct terminals based upon the electrics in the sport seats and you're ready to roll! Easy peezy...
