M490 & M680 Options

M490 & M680 Options
Seems I am a bit confused (not unusual). I have searched this forum and not come across this particular situation. I have both these option codes on my 95 C2 but have the standard door and rear speakers. I am wondering if all cars with M490 and M680 have the Hi Fi speaker enclosures? Some of the options listed for my car I can understand being different such as no model designation (car had one when purchased) but I can't understand why someone would remove an upgraded stereo system option.

M680 - Not found.
Many owners of 993 have replaced their OE speakers long ago as the paper drivers and surrounds dried out, even basic aftermarket speakers sound better. A previous owner may have purchased standard door cards and installed the speakers. Are the speakers, in the door & in the back, under the grills OE or aftermarket? Is the OE power amp under the passenger seat present and connected in your car?

M680 - mj 01 digital sound package / mj 02- sound system Bose analog. I have had the car for 15 years and it had the standard speakers at that time. I did replace both door and rear speakers a few years ago and kept the original OE grills. Another odd difference is M692 is listed as well and I had to add a CD changer when I got it. I am just wondering if it is worth tracking down a set of door speaker enclosures since it is listed as an option on the car. Car seems nicely optioned according to Mr. Pervy. I always considered it a pretty basic car. The only thing I can think of is someone swapped it out with a buddy's car but that seems like a lot of work to go through.
