Are you guys telling me I need to drive out there now? After spending 60K of my hard-earned miles for a stupid airfare? These rewards programs ain't what they used to be! Am I starting to sound like Ken?

60K is nothing! Try a Biz or 1st ticket to Europe. I'm pushing 2 million miles in my AA account, I could suck those up in two long trips with my wife.

European travel from NY is cheap. I usually just pay for those. But yeah, air travel to a vacation spot for a family of 4 is 250K miles easy if you want decent flights. Anyway, back on topic about the Prius...

The Prius must be a legitimate sports car if it is advertised in Hemmings…

Well I haven't looked at this thread forever, and what do I see from a month ago. Quick check shows United from EWR @ $341/Virgin @$366 for a Thu AM-Sun PM turnaround.

And if you think it would be too expensive and a hardship to attend what's probably the #1 Porsche event this year, take comfort I'm on an overnighter out your way Thu PM for a few days in NYC and the obligatory day trip to see the mother-in-law in PA............

Hi Jason, PM sent, looking forward to seeing everyone. Thanks for all the effort to coordinate this cast of characters! I will be staying in Darin and Mark's motorhomes, probably 2 nights each to see which one I like the most (just kidding, FDM )

Is that to SFO or MRY? Because direct flights from NYC are in the $600 range. Anyway. You and I are going to lunch next week to the place I took Tony Hatter. Not sure how much he liked it but you will!

Back on the Prius topic, I'm going to Sebring for the 48H race in a couple of weeks and rented a house through AirBNB. The owner is letting me rent her Prius to drive to the track. Awesome!! Now I just want to make sure I can pass scrutineering...

Yes, SFO. What, you want a 993 delivered for your use during your stay? Probably can be arranged, especially if I put the 4S back together. Else, you get 550HP of 996 Turbo fury. Which I think you can handle. (Worst case is a V-6, 5 speed F150. Basically the same age with half the miles of the 4S.)

Also, I'm looking at doing an AirBNB rental, too. Single for now, but if someone wants to go in on a "party" house/center of operations let me know. We're looking at Thu-Sun, but could get down there on Wed.
