Default Porsche 911 x 911 Museum Book

Just had this delivered today - it's from the Porsche Museum and documents every 911. It was put together for the 50th anniversary of the car and has some stellar pictures, drawings, and posters - all broken down by model/series.

It's 8 lbs of 911 pictorial love....a good addition to the Porsche library - just in case you're looking to answer the question 'What should I get you for Christmas?'

Some pics....

Front Cover - a lot of great info and pics on the venerable 911

993 Design sketches

Section on the 993 S model

More 993 S love

Martin C2S - Suncoast had a Black Friday Sale on it but I found it on Ebay for cheaper - coincidentally being sold by Steven's Creek Porsche so delivery was super fast since it's almost in my geographical area. I believe they might have had more than one in stock. Do a search for '911 911 Book' I believe. (no affiliation yada yada etc.)

Nels - you're gonna love it - really nice layout.

A friend loaned me this book. Great photos and very well done. Lots of 993 pics. Also great shots of Steve McQueen and another with the band Dire Straits. I guess I should return it!!

Ordered this must-have tome from Porsche of Stevens Creek on Tuesday, was delivered today - and many thanks to After Sales Product Specialist Glenna Faye Nadonza.

The book really is an historical work of art and far exceeded my expectations.

It's written in German, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.

Hundreds of Porsche pix I have never seen and hundreds of pages to put them on.

Incidentally, this treasure trove from the Porsche Museum weighs 8 lbs.

Ordered this too and it will end up under the Christmas Tree. I love heavy gifts.

Guess I've been a good boy!
