Speed Yellow - To be or not to be..
Looking at a 97 Speed Yellow C2S (private seller) with Lo Mi's. I love the color, which I guess should be "enough", but also like to drive my car(s) and eventually sell them. I know it is not Silver nor Black, but would value the opinions of other Porschephile's.
Also, any way to look up product numbers by color?
Thanks

Speed Yellow is considerably more rare than silver or black. More so on a C2S. I'd be on that like a fat kid on a cheeseburger.

I don't think your going to have much luck looking up #'s by color. Many are even having challenges with finding proven documented #'s by models.
I'll even say to add a bit of premium for SY, at least I know I would pay more for it esp in a WB or TT, it's really not very common.

At the end of the ownership, is $2K-$5K-$10K(?) difference going to matter? Meaning you'll be at risk of missing a mortgage payment, or explaining to your wife you can't take the extra vacation?
It's: 1. widebody, 2. low miles. (Assumed more-or-less stock, clean title, no "oops, forgot to mention it was repaired in the past", etc.)

Personally, I've owned my SY cab for 4.5 years after owning an Aventurine cab for 6 years. I like both colors for different reason, but SY always bring a smile both to me and to those around. That is enough in my book. If you like it, buy it, own it, don't worry one bit about resale value. In the case of 993 it'll probably be there regardless.

Not being a fan of yellow cars....if there was a car to buy in yellow, it's a wide body 993!
