How many gunshots did I hear from the comfort of my living room, just in the time it took me to scan the latest postings to this thread?

Seems like there were 3 years on east coast and two consecutive events at same track.
When the late Bob Carlson of PCNA was running RSR, he moved it around. Now it seems it will be at Laguna Seca for the foreseeable future, much to the chagrin of those of us from the Sunrise coast. BUT, this year we will have a mega event here - the HSR "Classic 24 Hour" race at Daytona in November 13-16. See: http://www.classic24hour.com/ This is turning into a big Porsche event. For example, there are already NINE 962's registered including one from the Porsche Museum. And, we'll see round-the-clock racing on Saturday & Sunday.
For lodging at RSR V, a house is best if you can get a group together. I've done both at Monterey Week, and it has a LOT of advantages. If you need to stay at a motel, Marina isn't bad. You avoid all the traffic coming in on Route 68 or South Boundary Rd. by coming via 617 & then one of the back roads. It brings you in right near the Pit Straight with NO traffic.

Tickets go on sale on 12/3 and they have released ticket info. Looks like they are not having a parade lap this time.

Tried to buy tickets and all I get is a pdf preview of ticket prices. Are they finished selling tickets for now?

Wait...When do tickets go on sale?
I suspect that would indeed be the case. How could it possibly be any different?
Personally, I fail to see the draw in sitting in a parade at a snails pace, heating my clutch for no apparent reason.
Everyone I talked to who did the parade lap said it was like being on the 405 at rush hour.

I took my nephew out for the parade laps, as he wanted to be out on a racetrack. Maybe we were in a better spot, but it was no worse than any other parade laps, and could stretch Ruby's legs reasonably well.

I'll be there for at least a day or two.
Staying with a friend about 15 miles away.
He just bought a really pretty 996 (really!) and is looking forward to seeing LS from a car perspective rather than Moto GP perspective.
