Default My new 993!

Well, it's not quite mine yet...

But I put down a deposit and should be picking it up this weekend if the PPI looks good. Red's not my #1 choice, but hey, beggars will be choosers.

I was thinking about going down the 997.2 path, but they just seemed so dime a dozen compared to this car. And all signs point to better resale value in the long run.

The details:
1996 993 Carrera
35xxx miles
2 owners
All books stamped by dealer from day 1
No aftermarket modifications
No paintwork
Mint condition

$50k. I just hope she's not going to be too much trouble. Last thing I need is two demanding ladies.

That's alot of money. Mind you it is a great example. If you plan on driving it, i would get something with more miles and some mods performed for 10-15k$ less.

It's a 3rd car and most likely headed to be a garage queen. The main parameters were low mileage, no accidents/paintwork, and no mods. Yes there are higher mileage versions out there for $40k, $45k but how many of those are well documented unmolested examples?

I love my 993, but you have to have at least $10,000 grand in the bank to plop down at any given time. Be warned, but that is a beautiful car. Wow! Good luck!

I think is a fair price for such good example you got there, enjoy it and drive the crap out of it !! That's what they are made for

I drive less than 3k miles a year, maybe even less. I'm not too worried about adding miles. I'm confident that in a few years, this will become an even more uncommon example.

Don't know what you other NYC people think, but it just seems cars in this area are more expensive than elsewhere.
