Tour to Irvine Cars and Coffee
August 23rd, 2014

A few members of the Porsche Club San Diego are organizing a highly anticipated tour to the Irvine Cars and Coffee on August 23rd from 5:30am to approximately 10am. We will be meeting off the 5 fwy in Oceanside at Carrows Restaurant (936 N Coast Hwy, Oceanside, CA 92054) at 5:00am sharp to caravan over to the Irvine Spectrum area for Cars and Coffee.
The Irvine Cars and Coffee is a well-attended car show that is quadrupled in size when compared to our Carlsbad Cars and Coffee event at the Outlets. All kinds, ages, types of cars are in attendance from Bugatti to Porsche to Ferrari to you name it! The older the better… cars newer than 1998 will likely have to park in spectator parking.
After Cars and Coffee (usually folks start to leave at around 8-8:30am) we will head over to the nearby Irvine Spectrum for breakfast and socializing at Corner Bakery Cafe. We will complete at 10am-ish… just in time for Spectrum shopping! (Good incentive for the ladies to wake up early and tag along!)

I may be able to make it, I will be driving from Huntington Beach... John

No, been in Louisiana all week, so staying close to home. Did the run a few weeks ago when it was still light early-it's getting light quite a lot later these days.

I spent 1 freaking night in the City, and THAT'S the night they get hit with the Biggest earthquake they have had in 25 YEARS!

I grew up in California (slept through the Sylmar quake as a kid) so quakes are nothing new really.

wife got up, looked around the room a bit, then we went back to sleep, but otherwise an uneventful trip.
