Cab question - Boot cover and wind deflector
Hi, I had a great weekend with the family in the Porsche. I actually have à boot cover and was tempted by a wind deflector.
But after looking at the boot installed, I was wondering if it's possible to use the wind deflector when the boot is installed.
And when the top is closed I think the wind deflector stays in place, but can the kids sit in the back?

When the top is closed the wind deflector end up just under the roof, not interfering with back seat kids. When the roof is down, however, and teh wind deflector is attached, kids can't sit there. Considering that it takes about 20 seconds to take the deflector off, that's not a problem.

If you are talking about a Porsche deflector and hood cover there are 3 options for the roof down. Cover off and keep the speed down or you will damage the folded hood. Cover on and if properly fitted this goes over the deflector fittings on the frame and fully protects the folded hood. If fitting the deflector the protective flap should be fully zipped to the hood and apart from buffeting it protects the folded cover from wind damage.
nile13 is correct about the roof up. Just be careful that the front seats are not right back and upright when raising or lowering the roof or you will catch the deflector.
