Sealant required on oil line union?
When I dropped my engine, the union that goes between the main oil feed line and crank case moved slightly (its tough to hold while turning the nut on the line). This is the union/line I'm referring too;
I'm concerned I've disturbed whatever seals that union into the crank case. Does anyone know if there is a sealant specified for this part? Should I just tighten it up and leave it be or pull it out and put something on it to reseal?
Thanks.

Don't have access to workshop manual just now but I believe loctite red is specified for the crankcase side of that union.
You need a skinny wrench (32mm?) to hold it while the nut is tightened on the line / union.
Edit: found it. See item 20: Loctite 270, torque to 70 Nm / 52 ft-lb

Thanks, didn't realize it was called a "screw in flange" in the manual. I made a slick tool from a bicycle headset wrench to hold that thing. I'll clean it up and Loctite it in when I replace the crush washer.
