Congrats on the new addition. For what its worth, my kids are 5 and 3 and fit in the back of the C2. I admit being 6' 2" it can be a compromise for me at times but thats the price I pay.
On a totally different tangent, if you do look to sell and its RHD perhaps you may be able to find a buyer in Australia? Demand for 993's are really heating up over here and the extra $$$ may help you with the Macan.......

If you can't find a place and the financial wherewithal to store it for a year or two (which is definitely the best idea - buy a secondhand Honda minivan instead of the Macan and use the difference for storage fees), then you should at least sell it for big profit.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I thought about keeping it in a storage for a few years until the kid is big enough to fit in the back seat, but the cost to keep 2 cars in Japan is very high considering all the taxes and insurance that come with it so I have to let my 993 go for now.
This is like breaking up with the perfect girlfriend! Here's a picture of what she looks like.
Considering the yeah (97), low mileage (25k), and good condition, I was told $45K to $50K is most likely I will be able to get if I sell it now. It's a Tip. If 6 speed, looks like it will be $10k more.

Does Japan not have the equivalent of a "non-operational" vehicle registration? I have been told that owning a car in Japan, especially Tokyo, is a very expensive luxury. Be glad your public transit works over there.

My wife is from Japan and would gladly live there with our 993 (thankfully, she's a 993 fan).
Great city...enjoy your new family arrival and also your time living there...there'll be other cars later to look forward too.

Wow, what a beautiful car! Maybe you'll get lucky enough to sell it to someone who will sell it back to you in a couple of years.
The sacrifices we make for our children! Luckily the payoff they give is worth it!
Good luck with the sale, I hope you make out like a bandit.
