Dear wheel Seller,
You did NOT sell a SETof wheels as advertised. You sold 3 of one type and 1 of another. You had to know this because it is EASY to see on the back of the wheel...you can't say "I just missed it". Yes, they look the same on the front, but they are NOT a "set" of wheels. So, make it "right" with TheBen, whatever that takes. Your reputation isn't worth a few dollars... As others have said, "underpromise, overdeliver" and it will pay dividends.

I wish he sent me a full size McClaren GTR...however he didn't.

The seller and I did have a GOOD conversation last night, and I will be posting pics of the bent wheel and hopefully a video of it spinning here on this thread...and he can respond here if he wants.

Very well said Keith.

Seller, please make this right. We all enjoy a very special community here; especially in the 993 forum.

We all make mistakes in judgement from time to time. A man is measured not by his mistakes, but by how he corrects them.

Sucks. There is always this risk when buying used car parts online. Even with detailed pictures, it's still really a "sight-unseen" transaction. I hope this situation is resolved, but in the event the OP is stuck with a wonky "set" of wheels here is how you make lemon-aid from them lemons;

1. Take the bent one and make a kick-*** Porsche branded garden hose spool for your backyard out of it. (Center cap and all!)
2. Post the other 3 for sale individually for those looking to replace only one wheel out of their set.. You probably won't get all of your money back, and they might not sell fast, but you'll recoup some of the costs!

What is the point of this thread?
Either sort it out between you and the seller, or tell us who they are so we don't do biz with them.
Very unlikely we can do anything to help you.

All IMO of course.

This!

I just bought a 3 spoke steering wheel that is worn out at a price which did not reflect condition.

I am eating that one because multitasking has drawbacks and did not properly ask for condition/pics because I travel all time for work.

I have yet to reach out to the seller about the condition from opening the box this morning. However, due diligence is my ownership and I am eating it. OP sounded like he did his homework and was mislead.

Hi Andreas - looks nice but out of character for my house. Nice thought though. I haven't procured pics from Wheel Enhancement yet but will. In the meantime, here is a pic of the rears. Already I'm in the right - seller said a a full set of solid spoke twists. This doesn't look like a set to me.

You can almost tell where the solid spoke rear is bent (wheel top left at "5:30") but I once I get better pictures of the barrel and a profile shot it will be much more evident.

Nice to see the seller is making you jump through needless hoops, even though you've already proven that he sold you a hollow spoke wheel, instead of a "set of solid spokes". Oh, right, they're also bent, and not straight and true as he falsely advertised.

The fact that the seller is too ashamed to chime in, and has offered you money to go away, further proves the fact he knows he's in the wrong.

Sorry Ben, you got shafted. Hope you change your mind and decide to let us know the immoral seller in our midst....
