If your rotor thickness is within specification, no need to change them. In normal driving I got 90K miles out of mine and they still looked good even though they were at minimum thickness. I found that the factory pads have the lowest likelihood for squealing noise, probably because they are very soft as compared to after market pads. You can reuse the noise spiders by attaching them using EMP compound, sometimes call squeal silencer compound, or buy replacements. It can be a little tricky to get the new pads to slid in place without binding on the spider's adhesive backing. I found by grinding off the lower edge (inside curve) of each pad's friction material just a little makes sliding the pads in position much easier. Good luck! Andy
