CR-1 on eBay... $1300

I'd sell the broken CR-1 in my car for $1,000. What a deal?
Did I miss something here? Why is this radio so expensive?
An auction like this, kinda makes me think that our original suspensions will be worth a lot of money someday.

The Feb 2014 issue of Keith Martin's Sports Car Market auction magazine featured collecting SC's and the article mentioned this 1980 911SC:
http://www.sportscarmarket.com/colum...-porsche-911sc
The article went on to say that the Porsche's that will be valued the most, like the featured SC, will be the Porsche's with the original suspensions. Seriously, the author of the article said that the Porsche's with "upgraded" suspensions weren't really an upgrade.

I save all of the original Porsche lint that I vacuum from the carpet. Someday, a purist may wish to weave it back into the carpeting.

I plan on removing my front bumperettes next month.
They'll be for sale as the complete set of (2) two pieces, OEM, all original, never hit. $ 500 (shipping not included).
