Ludicrous soundtrack, beautiful backdrop. No comment needed on the fantastic car, C2S with what looks to be MY02 wheels.

Random YouTube find, btw.

If you turn off the volume, it's quite good!

The klausen is wonderful ... very tight in places, like a welsh rally stage.

Possibly the best swiss pass for a 993.

We are returning home via the Klausen in a few weeks time, cant wait.

Nice car and scenery.

I noticed that many if not most of 993s in Europe have the rear wiper installed but very few US cars have that option. I actually like it... Anybody tried to retrofit it ?

It can be retrofitted of course. I'm sure many RL members have the bits and pieces from removing the system from their cars.

But if you are lucky enough to have a 993 with wiper delete be happy. Ugly and useless. With Rainex on the rear w/s the water sheets off perfectly. I doubt if the rear wiper has ever been used in anger on a 993.....

I've always had rear wipers on my daily cars (station wagons) and I use it almost every day.

It looks like this modification would require new rear glass + all other parts (motor, arm, switches). The parts only are almost $2K...so I think I leave it like it is.

I'm jealous of the roads you get to drive on and the scenery. Really beautiful.

Ordered the rear wiper option and can't say its used much, rarely actually. A 993 driven in all types of weather would benefit.
I kind of like the appearance ......

Heavenly! Do you happen to have a route you've taken on Maps by any chance?
