But what doesn't make sense is the crazy asking price. I believe the highest sale price for a 993tts was around $270K. These guys need to make top dollar on their cars and I can respect that considering how hard it is to get truly good aircooled cars. But advertising crazy high prices seems like all it would do is help stagnate the market, which can't help when trying to get more aircooled cars - even for the best. Everyone thinks they are sitting on gold when they see these prices.

This car was sold by north houston Porsche for $285k about 6 months ago , car went to CHILE if I remember right it had 3800 miles and the interior was blue with sport seats

I know of a sub-5,000 mile car that went quietly for over $400K. We'll see how long these values keep accelerating, I think there is an "adjustment" coming as they say in the business.
