Default Wheel color choices for Polar Silver 993

Hey folks,

I've got a set of WORK Brombacher wheels that I am fixing up to mount on my 993. They are currently have black or metallic blue painted centers and the paint is chipping and flaking so they definitely need to be repainting.

I'm planning to have the centers stripped down to the bare metal and then powder coated. The outer lips will be polished (possibly clear coated, possibly not).

But what color centers should I go with? (photoshop mockups are welcome)

1) Body Color Polar Silver?
2) GT2 Wheel Grey (or something close)
3) Silver (some other shade)
4) Bare Metal Clear Coated?
5) Gold
6) Arena Red
7) Guards Red
8) Other???

I don't want black wheels or particularly dark colored wheels since I think it hides the features of the wheels too much. Also I have a red interior and wouldn't mind introducing some red accents to the exterior if done tastefully. Thoughts?

Here are a couple photo of the wheels currently:

Here are several photos of other WORK Brombacher wheels on Pcars to get people's thoughts going:

Thanks!

How about bronze? Bronze and silver looks fantastic!

GT2 gray might provide a nice subtle contrast. Gold centers are pretty retro.

Body color or GT2 grey would be tasteful.

Personally, I would the paint lips and the dish in black.

I would go with body color or gun metal grey for the centers.

many variations on the "GT2" color, but I'm obviously a fan. My other suggestion would be the darker silver-GT Silver, from the 996 TTS. I think it was a color option thru that series, maybe even with 997's. My old wheelset was that color. The wheels will look great, good luck

I like the look of a medium darkness metallic grey. I think gun metal is getting too dark.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, everyone!

Orange rims on silver is great…Maybe a little Redish Orange to complement your interior. Its a little more of a track color….mark

Well it isn't perfect, but here is a mock up with the smurf's wheels pasted onto the turbo-look C4. I haven't tweaked the color of the spokes at all to the darker tone of the car's original wheels, but it is something:
