Where are you located? If you are north I would definitely go to Mass, much better selection.

What a timely thread, I'm relocating to Providence and was going to ask the same question. We're planning on living on the East side of Providence.

there's German Motors in Providence, but in all honesty you are better off driving 1 hour to EPE in Natick. If you don't mind a dealer Inskip still has one of the best air.cooled mechanics around. His name is Pat Duggan. Just ask for him to service your car. Be prepared for dealer pricing though. Actually EPE is rather costly as well so if you really don't want to travel try Inskip. Us Rhode Islanders should just together and buy a lift and then beg Jason Andreas to start wrenching!

Sorry I'm a little late to the thread......

I have always used European imports (Andrew "Buck" Barber) in Westerly, RI (401) 596-9740. Specializes in high end porsche, benz, ferrari, BMW, Audi, etc. I've been using them for 16+ years.

Another option is Premier Automotive (Jorge Almieda) in Warwick (401) 884-2211. My father in law brings his 993 to them and swears by them. I can attest they do very good work also.

With the new 993 crowd in RI we should start thinking about a local cars and coffee? We could meet at a local starbucks or brewed awakenings? Chime in if your interested!

Cheers,
Ryan

Ryan, I've never heard of Premier Automotive. I'll have to look them up. I am always looking for a good local place for service. I am tired of driving to Mass just for an oil change. Has you father in law had any major work done there or just oil changes, etc?

Yes, we definitley should start up a local cars and coffee. We probably have about 10 guys on here with 993's in RI now.

I'm always available to help with wrenching or if you just need to borrow any special Porsche tools, I probably have them.
