Price Check - 1997 C2S - 8000 miles

I know the OP is a newbie, but this is the reason these threads are BS.
OP, there's a real easy way to find out what the market thinks your car is worth.
Go to eBay. List your car there. Set a reserve for the minimum you'd take for it.
Whatever the price at the end of the aucition, is what the market thinks the car is worth.
Again, you're new, so no worries, but these kinds of threads are sort of looked down upon here because they are often used as auctions to sell cars.
Now, why don't you close this auction and try one on eBay instead? You'll get a wider reach and an more accurate gauge

Surprised nobodys mention the highly sought after color! Yeah anotherfor reaching out to Rudy…coarse that means another set of hardbacks that'll go MIA and snatched up tooIn all seriousness though, low mileage and VERY rare color i'd think at least 85-90K.Either way GLWS and enjoy that beauty!

So, I'm sure the guys PM box is overflowed by now, so its too late at this point. Goofball stated it right, IMO. eBay is the place to go for auctions.
OP-to sell a car here, and yes-you're selling, you need to be a paid member, and you need to state a price.

You guys are all too up tight, why not just answer the question? A potential seller can ask all he wants, it is the buyer who decides the price he is willing to pay. If the car is for sale he must post the price but until then, asking is no problem for me. IMHO.

^^^ +1, the ridiculous hysteria every time we get one of these posts is hilarious.
To the OP keep the car in the collection you will be very happy when you go to sell it in 5 to 10 years.

The reason I posted this is I thought I was low balled on an offer, and I was correct.
If there is an "easy" way to find out what something is worth without placing for sale, please show me the way.
My intention was not to start an auction, it was exactly what my OP says... Price Check. I do not want to **** anybody off or get anybody's panties in a bunch, I apologize if I already have.

I am honestly thinking about keeping it. Thanks for the suggestion.
If I were to sell here, I would be more than happy to be a paid member. I would like to learn all I can about this car. And this seems to be a perfect forum to gather information.

No hysteria, just opinions, as you voice yours. A true auction would answer the question. All we can do is speculate here, and answers are meaningless.
It's obvious it's for sale, if he hears the amount that tickles his fancy. He certainly gets a pass, as a newbie, but now is the time to join and do it right.
I certainly don't make any rules, or enforce them here, but I like them. Membership should have its privileges with regard to selling here. Otherwise, this becomes the 993 swap meet for anyone happening by.

If this car was sitting at a specialty dealer like Willhoit, at minimum $90K asking price. That will provide you some sort of reference point to work with...

I'm not a big fan of Slate Grey, but it's a relatively rare color with many fans and you don't find too many 8,000-mile original owner 993's running around. So I'll speculate roughly $90K +/- 5K, if near flawless, no stories, clear title and all books and records.
The hardbacks would be icing on the cake
