I enjoyed the video but, I do agree. I'd like more focus on the driving experience, maintenance, mechanical issues, etc.

I'm going to say there are a good number of people out there pampering there old 911s or just using them for strictly pleasure (sunny day drives, C&C etc). Nothing wrong with that cause it's whatever floats your boat.

And with the recent market wave + all this internet hype, it's possible more will garage queen them too, thinking about the mileage + value equation. Like the video discussion, there is a decent size of collectors out there, who are driving up this market too.

Realistically how many actually DD their 911s, prob more on the lower % range, this is something more for the modern day era 996, 997 etc.

Pampering should not be confused with taking care of them.

I'm sure that most cars here are not DD, and used for weekend drives, C&C, fun road trips, track days, etc. If they aren't DD's, that doesn't mean they're not driven.

Sorry to bump an older thread but great video! I am always torn between getting a fairly new model 997.2 but now I think getting an older 964 is more feasible for me as well as having a more visceral driving experience.
