Default Column Covers for Momo Install

I'm installing a Prototipo and 7004 hub into my 993. Trying to source the column trim to eliminate the gap with the Momo hub. I can get the upper trim (964-552-273-00-01C) but the lower trim (964-552-275-01-01C) is NLA. This is the one with the cutout for the cruise lever.

Does anybody have a source for the trims or have extras they'd like to sell?

Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. And I'm very confused about the part numbers. I don't think 964-552-273-00-01C is correct. I ordered this and 964-552-273-01-01C since I found references to both in PET for the RS, and the latter appears to be the better way to go since its length matches the stock 993 part, and it also has a similar square rear cutout, whereas the 00-01C part is shorter and has an angled cutout (see attached photo for comparison). The problem then is that they don't look like they will align the same way with the lower parts, so now I'm not sure what part number I need for the bottom. PET lists 2 RS parts for the lower cover - 964-552-275-00-01C and 964-552-275-02-01C. Furthermore, this thread has a different set of numbers: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...tall-help.html

964-552-273-00-01C (Upper)

964-552-275-00-01C (Lower, No Cruise Control, No Trip Computer)
964-552-275-01-01C (Lower with Cruise Control)
964-552-275-04-01C (Lower with Trip Computer)
964-552-275-05-01C (Lower with Trip Computer and Cruise Control)

My best guess is that the these lower parts align with the upper listed, which as I noted doesn't seem to be the best solution.

If anyone who has installed the RS wheel or a Momo and swapped covers could share what they used, I would be be very grateful. Also, if anyone has a picture of 964-552-275-02-01C, that would help clarify if it might work.

I may be wrong but you will need the 993 RS parts, dont think the RS had cruise so you wont have any luck with the cutout, you would have to modify the RS one

Part numbers

9645522730001C top

9645522750001C bottom

Go to the the 993 or 964 EURO pet and you can find the bottom cover for no airbag, no computer, but WITH cruise control. That's the one I ordered. I'll dig around and try and find a part number...

To further detail the various options, there are two different parts in PET for the 993RS upper cover. They are

964-552-273-00-01C
964-552-273-01-01C

I ordered both and as you can see in the photo above, they are very different. And I have no idea why.

PET also shows two parts for the 993RS lower cover:

964-552-275-00-01C
964-552-275-02-01C

I haven't seen these yet, but assume that they are also quite different and that they therefore will only fit a matching upper cover. If the 993 RS did not have cruise control as an available option, then I assume both the lower parts listed in PET for the 993RS do not have the needed cutouts, and this seems to be confirmed by the description of these parts in the 964 PET. That being the case, the only way to get lower covers with cruise control and/or trip computer cutouts would be to order other parts listed in the 964 PET. In the 964 PET there are also two upper covers listed. Interestingly enough they coincide with the two 993RS parts:

964-552-273-00-01C
964-552-273-01-01C (for option M562 airbag)

And there are eight different lower covers listed in the 964 PET:

964-552-275-00-01C
964-552-275-02-01C (for option M562 airbag)
964-552-275-01-01C (for option M454 cruise control)
964-552-275-03-01C (for options M562 and M454 airbag and cruise control)
964-552-275-04-01C (for option M659 trip computer)
964-552-275-05-01C (for options M659 and M454 cruise control and trip computer)
964-552-275-06-01C (for options M562 and M659 airbag and trip computer)
964-552-275-07-01C (for options M562 and M454 airbag and cruise control)

The first two listings are identical to the 993RS covers. And I noticed that 964-552-275-03-01C and 964-552-275-07-01C have identical descriptions, but I think this may be a mistake and that 964-552-275-07-01C also includes a cutout for a trip computer.

Therefore, I think you can match up the 964 parts like so:

Upper:
964-552-273-00-01C

Lowers:
964-552-275-00-01C
964-552-275-01-01C (for option M454 cruise control)
964-552-275-04-01C (for option M659 trip computer)
964-552-275-05-01C (for options M659 and M454 cruise control and trip computer)

And

Upper:
964-552-273-01-01C (for option M562 airbag)

Lowers:
964-552-275-02-01C (for option M562 airbag)
964-552-275-03-01C (for options M562 and M454 airbag and cruise control)
964-552-275-06-01C (for options M562 and M659 airbag and trip computer)
964-552-275-07-01C (for options M562 and M454 airbag and cruise control - and maybe trip computer also)

The recommendations I've seen in other posts reference the 964 non-airbag parts, but since the 993 PET lists 964 airbag model covers for the RS, I'm trying to figure out if the other 964 airbag model parts will also work, particularly since the 964 airbag model upper that I have seems to be a better fit than the non-airbag 964 upper cover.

Regarding the original question about where to buy 964-552-275-01-01C, Daniel Berwind in the parts dept. at Jim Ellis Porsche tells me they can get them from Germany:

To further illustrate why I think the 964-552-273-00-01C may not be the best choice, I took a couple of photos with the top covers installed. Note that 964-552-273-01-01C fits much better and leaves less of the dash exposed. However I don't know what the lower looks like.

Wow am I glad I asked this question before I ordered anything. Great info here thanks very much for taking the time to write all that up.

I agree the 964 airbag trim looks far more correct than the part numbers I've seen recommended in other Momo wheel install posts.

Looks to me like the hot ticket would be Upper: 964-552-273-01-01C and Lower: 964-552-275-03-01C ?

By comparison how bad does the stock 993 trim end up looking with the Momo hub installed (I haven't actually torn into mine yet)?

I have ordered the 964-552-275-03-01C after concluding it is probably the better fit. I'll post a picture once I have it installed.

Regarding the stock cover, it isn't bad, but the reason you might replace it is because the cutout that surrounds the column is not circular, and therefore from the side you can see the switch mechanism.

Man, I sure am glad I didn't know about these other trim pieces for racing wheels before I switched wheels. It's one of those things that I didn't notice until this thread came about, and now that I see how ugly the stock looks with it, I can't unsee it. Your installs are going to look great.
