Wow, Ed.
I don't react to many things on this forum, but that picture, and knowing it was you, made my jaw fall open.
I know the amount of time and effort you put into that car. Wow.
I am so glad to hear that you are alright.
Onward to faster and better.

Guys, thanks so much for your outpouring of support. It means a lot to me, especially as I attempt to help my spouse get past what might have been a tragedy. I've shared some of your comments with her, and it's comforted her to a great degree. Again, my sincerest thanks.
As for the car, I visited it at the collision center today, and my thoughts remain that it's not a write-off. While the full assessment has yet to be made, I am committed to that car. Cross your fingers and wish me luck that I can make it so.
Fix the car, fix the driver: before I attempt to hang with the big dogs next year, I will not be so presumptuous to think I can do this once a year and be skilled enough to pull it off. For my sake and for those around me, I will become a better, safer driver. Albeit one who is one pedal short of a full set.

Great outlook. Keeping my fingers crossed that the car can be saved.

Sorry to see this Ed. Don't get rid of the car if you don't have to. It looks like mild damage. Plus, if you keep it, you can say that you've been inverted in your 993. Not many other guys can say that.

I'm glad your wife, you and everyone at the scene was OK.
Though the situation is very unfortunate, it's nice to read about your dedication to your car (and your wife).
Given how thin the window pillars are, it's amazing to think that car was ever upside down.
These are tough cars!

Ed,
Wow, what and unexpected turn of events reading through this post. Glad you are OK. Really surprised the damage does not look worse. I really hope it can be put back together. Best of luck!!

Hey, Ed. I can't believe the car looks that good after putting the shiney side down. Especially the roof. That GA pinestraw was like a pillow waiting to catch her! Hopefully she can be fixed. Again, so glad you are OKAY!

Ed has it been determined if there is any frame damage yet? If there is frame damage you need to work with the repair facility that has the proper jig (Celette).
