Cut some more brackets from the roof and now the cage snapped in place.
We will weld the brackets during weekend and then the carpeting will go back in.

Got some more parts for the build:

GT2 Motorsport driveshafts...abt. $2600/each....AUTS!! Like someone wrote here earlier: "Which part of Porsche Racing did you think was cheap, the Porsche part or the Racing part...?"

And the 996 RSR electric power steering pump. The bracket is on it's way from GSR Autosport.

Hahah!! Thanks for the kind words!

There's absolutely no space for speakers any more. But why remove them since I'll be replacing the doors with CF EVO doors...

This car will be as light as a butter cup. Even the owner/driver is on diet now... (feeling hungry 24/7)

Damn, Juha. You know how to do it right. Those GT2 drive shafts are beautiful. Nicely done.

Here's for comparison a NA 993 driveshaft and a GT2 Motorsport drive shaft.

Here's the motorsport rear A-arm. This one has a monoball on the shorter arm and hard rubber bushing on the longer...I suppose the factory dialed in some flex since all other arms are with monoballs on a GT2EVO and RSR....?

what are your plans for the underside of the roof and inside the car?

my suggestion, match the mirrors, evo doors and wing center / wheel centers all in white.

I think white on brown would look good

Hey Juha,

You have one hell of a nice car there. I can't wait to see the conversion all finished up.
