The shifter arrived today. First impression was very good. And once in place it offers great ergonomy.

Got some d=100mm and d=60mm cooling ducts for the brakes too:

Nice shifter !

I don't want to spoil it, but if you are meaning the looks, you do not have the same body kit as jurg aeberhard, that 993 is awesome and insane quick with him behind the steering wheel, there is not much info about his car.

what is the plan for the upcoming weeks for the car ?

No worries! Maybe it's not the same bodykit but it's pretty damn close in my opinion. The kit I have (and that is on Jurgs car) has kinda straight cut edges and no recesses for bolts, unlike any of the other kits out there.
What is copy of what is another thing but I think these two kits are very close if not identical.

Or, what do you think is different on Jurgs car?

The plan for the next weeks is to completely outfit/assemble the car so that every piece of equipment that will go on the car has been on the car. This week the Motec guy will come and we'll get the ball rolling on the electrics.
Once everything is ready, we will disassemble the chassis for blast and paint. All the body parts have already been fitted so we can take them out already and the shop can start working on getting them painted. They will not go back on the car before final assembly/outfitting is done to avoid damage to the fresh paint.

The difference's are Very little, it sits in the shape of the wide body extensions, yours are more round, the zimspeed bodykit is more square at the edges, but from a distance They all look the same. But both look great !

Comparing the two, you are right! Very subtle difference but just like you said, more square.

Some photos (oil cooling and brake cooling):

I've been advised to upgrade to electric throttle valve for several reasons:

- Better idle control (albeit, not very important on a race car)
- Offers flexibility for different setups (quali, race, wet etc.)
- Possibilty to make an anti-lag setup
- Easier installation (no cable)
- Traction control
- Throttle blibs for downshifts
- etc.

The current throttle valve is 75mm diameter, I'm thinking I should stick to the same size. It seems the 997 turbo uses a 75mm TB...not sure about the size of the 997 C4S TB but I have one in my garage as I have swapped a GT3 82mm TB in my 997. Gotta check that out.

Any comments/experience with converting from cable to e-gas?

The other option would be something like this:

How to fit the hood catch counter pieces and do it only once?

Shove your friend into the frunk, pull the light and welding gear through the headlight holes and close the lid.

Fitting the window "glass". The drive-in hatch is quite awesome! The door frame will be painted black so it will not show up like it does now.
