Default New Mods: Fuchs + Fisters

Hi all - just fitted Fister II's + SportCat 200 - WOW - breathing unleashed ! Also dropped back to 17" rims for round town daily driving with one one piece Fuchs (from fuchsfelge) which lMHO look better in 17" than 18" having seen both on 993's. Really happy with the look and will switch back to the 18" Sport Classic II's for high speed rural adventures. Also fitted S/S kit & Goldenrod - happy days

very nice mods!! the car looks fantastic. i agree that the smaller diameter suits the Fuchs design better - they look great on your car. what cats did you go with?

Nice. I have the same wheels. What size fronts are you using? I have 8" and end up adding 7mm spacers at all four corners. Are those PS2's? What size? Where did you get those center caps!?

Thanks - decided to go original 17" spec with these rims so 7" on the front with 15mm spacers (5mm on rear). For round town driving the ride and lack of tram-lining is nice. Yes PS2's : 205 and 255. Heard mixed reports of pairing 225's with 255's and 215's don't really work (for track and country blasts I switch back to the 8" & 10" 18's with 225 & 285)

Centre caps are nicely made in metal from www.design911.com

Thanks for the info. I'm at 225/255 which seems to alright to me. It's a little annoying that nobody makes a 17 215 or 265 tire.

I didn't want to add that much spacers to the front as that changes the king pin inclination too much. And I do wish they had a 10X17 for the rear.

Those Fuchs look fantastic!! I just wish the front/rear offsets were a bit more dramatic in difference like the 8"/9" Fuchs on the 80's cars.

Just want to confirm that the car looks and sounds stunning ...
And your absolutely right with your decision to go for the 17" wheels.
In my opinion, it would be nice if the car would come 1 to 2 cm further down but knowing you using it as daily and our great humbs all over ... ok.
Was great to meet you today at the Autodrome!
