While I know 28 attendance is nothing to pooh-pooh at, but think, just think, if Opo would bring his whole 993 collection up we can double the size of this event...

Hey All - while I will be there, it'll actually be in a late model Accord as Kate remains in pieces. If all goes to plan - she'll be road ready by month's end but Saturday I'll simply be there to admire and chat.

If anyone wants to take in my Pearl Royal Blue boring sedan, I certainly won't stop them...but this is more about you guys than me.

Very much looking forward to meeting everyone.

OK. I need some advice as to what I should do. I can take my 993 with the Stage IIIs over to RAC this afternoon before the weather hits, assuming they are expecting me and have a place to put it. However, it will be sitting there all weekend taking up space if the weather is so bad that no one can show up Saturday morning.

Or I can just wait until Saturday and attempt to drive over that morning, assuming the roads are not completely iced over.

How many of you will show up in your non-Porsche vehicles - those of us without C4(S)s and Turbos - if the weather is only kind of bad just to meet and listen to the exhausts?

Dan, it just depends! If the roads are drivable, but have any slick on the roads, I will come in the SUV. Obviously, if the roads are closed and impassable, I'll stay home by the fire.

RAC should have no problem finding space for your car. That place is huge!

since all the precipitation is due to come in tonight through tomorrow morning, i'm hoping the roads will be easily passable by saturday morning. saturday is supposed to be overcast right now, but no rain/ice. i'm thinking the unfortunate part is going to be the cold temps on saturday and little chance we'll be hanging out by the cars, unless RAC plans for us to bring them indoors - which they may plan for anyway and have the large front bay open for us already. that would be ideal.

if necessary, i'm sure RAC will house your car as long as you need. they really do have sufficient space over there. the issue would be for you to make arrangements to get it to them tonight before they close and get picked up.

I had not heard that about the precipitation ending. I've decided to take the car over this afternoon since I would hate for everybody to show up and not have Fister IIIs to listen to because I was unable to to handle the driving conditions. Patrick had already offered to pick me up.

See you all there at 9:00 Saturday.

Same story here...I'm looking forward to getting there in my P car, but if ice is in the mix I'll be there in something "less fashionable" :-)

I am about 40 miles north of RAC and my Northern facing house windows have solid 1/4" ice coverage.

My driveway is all ice from the freezing rain.

I am so disappointed as I really wanted to see all our 993s together.

What are the odds that we would have a winter storm the weekend of this event!!! Bummer. Hopefully the roads will dry out by Sat A.M. since the precipitation stops Friday around midday. I still plan on going. Not sure it the C4S will be coming or not.
