Whoa! I just saw this. At first I was sad as Pong was my first in-the-flesh RL buddy. But seeing as how it went to Javier, it's truly bittersweet. That's such a special car and it's nice to know it's going to another Ruf-phile. Plus, it's closer to me now! Congrats to both of you guys!!!

Kinda true... sucked always saying I USED to own my dream car....
She can drive it any time she wants... as soon as she wants to learn how to drive a manual. Oh well... I guess I ALWAYS have to drive it. :-D
This is so awesome! Javier has never been the same since he sold his RUF...kind of like he lost a certain bounce in his step (kidding...kind of....).
AND please let Vic drive it once in a while

Javi, thanks for bringing Mr. Echo over for a ride-n-drive.
Pong, you did a great job sorting the chassis. This car steers / tracks / turns in much better than most 993s I've driven.
It doesn't stop as well as the turbo R with the GT1 brakes, but I'll happily take it out for a "boost check" any chance that I have.
I might have to compete with Sierra(sp?) for that opportunity though.....

Thanks for the kind word. I was lucky to have Brandon Kraus of Roger Kraus Racing set up my suspension. Brandon is a semi-pro racer and a suspension specialist. He really dialed in the Ruf beattifully. I have other pro and semi-pro racers drive the Ruf and they all loved the handling. Being a lighter NB 2-wheel drive certainly helps.
I count myself blessed to have enjoyed it for 10+ years. Now its Javier's turn. Enjoy in great health.
