996 GT3 wheels on a 993 NB?

For the wheel pros among us, what do you think about fitting 2004 GT3 wheels on a NB 993? I know it's been done, just not sure how realistic:
11" 63 offset
8.5" 40 offset
- problems in front or rear?
- inboard or outside?
- impact of camber and tire size?
- rolled fenders?

front
both face planes are moved 17mm more outboard
rear
each face plane is moved 12.7mm, the outter more out and the inner more in
they wouldn't work on my car for sure
