That is the front suspension, not the rear. Yes that beam is also advised if using 18" wheels.

No worries about the Rear suspension changes, I will find the article and post it.

read the whole thread here - i can't tell if i would need upgrade in this situatiion for tire life issues only, not overall performance.

looking at a NA car built august 94 so an early 95 993. i happen to have a set of 993 Turbo Twists that i know will otherwise work having checked various tire sizes on cars at my dealor. so, would this car need some kind of work to not eat rear tires? i hadn't seem a reference before this thread, but then again this thread seemed to dispel that work project of some shops.
